Intern opening at Travelers’ Tales

Krista, the senior publicist at Travelers’ Tales is about to hit the market with an ad for a PR & Mkg intern.

If there are any college students, or even college grads that are looking to get into the publishing business this is a great opportunity. I started off at Travelers’ Tales as an unpaid intern in 1995 and since then have participated in nearly every job aspect in the office. I was the first intern to get a regular full time position and Travelers’ Tales, and since then two other interns have also attained full time jobs and gone on to become editors.

So, if you or anyone you know is looking to break into the publishing world, and is available for 2-3 days a week, email your resume for consideration to Krista. There is a lot that can be learned about a small publishing house, and how to publicize a book, from this position.
