A lonely writer needs your help
By Jen Leo | Permalink |Clever or pathetic? You decide…
In my younger days I might’ve done something similar just for a laugh. Heck, I wrote secret admirer letters to myself in the Valentine’s Day issue of our school newspaper just because I didn’t want to be without a valentine.
But I’m over these kinds of stunts now…I think.

Non-related comment, but I bet you’d have some advice. Is there any easy solution for the problem created by the long wait for submission replies? Other than writing a gazillion articles? The question is prompted by my starting to send off one article to a major newspaper, then realizing I hadn’t had it ruled out yet by another, already submitted. It can be up to 6-8 mo. to hear back from some publications and meanwhile the piece just sits. I know, only submit to those who accept multiple or else just keep writing…but? Any advice?
Thanks for the mini-critique, Jen. My first, but surely not my last. Am blown away by the word-of-mouth traffic so far — 20,000 hits in two weeks.
I am single 41wf and soooooo very lonely…I want to feel loved. The way I feel right now, there is no one who cares how my day was or how I FEEL I have no one to hold and hug me….I AM DYING INSIDE AND NO ONE KNOWS IT BUT ME.
