WWW October Salon: Tracy Johnston

By Jen Leo | Permalink | No Comments | October 1st, 2002 | Trackback

Pamela Michael is hosting this month’s Salon and her guest is Tracy Johnston, author of a book that is on almost everyone’s list of favorite travel books: Shooting the Boh: A Woman’s Voyage Down the Wildest River in Borneo. (Now in it’s 13th printing!) Tracy has been a journalist and magazine editor for most of her life.

She’s been working on a book about her travels in Nigeria for several years now and will be discussing social mores, African Islam and other tantalizing topics at the Salon. Come join us.
