WWW April Lit Salon — Adair Lara
By Jen Leo | Permalink |Don’t miss the April 2 Literary Salon sponsored by the Wild Writing Women and the Monticello Inn off Union Square.
I’ll be hosting the event and the guest speaker is Adair Lara from the San Francisco Chronicle. She will be talking to us about the challenges of writing a memoir as well as fielding questions about her experiences as a writing teacher, and columnist. If you haven’t heard of her before she’s quite funny and the author of Hold Me Close, Let Me Go.
Read more about Adair and the books, magazines, and newspapers she’s been in.
These events are hopping, loads of fun, great networking, and good apps if you can get there early enough to enjoy them.

Great Amy. How early can you get off work? There’s *a chance* a few TTers might go over early and have a drink next door first. Last time (actually every single time)it’s extremely difficult for me to talk to everyone. And no one should have to be body blocked if they’re just trying to say hi. If we don’t get to chat, I’ll be around a good chunk the last two weeks in May. See you soon.

Awesome! I’ll be there. Also hoping to get there early enough for some food–you’re right, it goes REALLY quickly!
