Events I Want to Go to

By Jen Leo | Permalink | 2 comments | September 26th, 2003 | Trackback

Tim Cahill is coming to Easy Going Oct 28, 7:30pm

I didn’t know Dave Barry had a book about blogging! He’s speaking at Book Passage on Monday Sept. 29 If you go, get me a signed copy. I’ll still be on the road.

Alison Wright will be reading at Book Passage for her new book Faces of Hope, Oct. 19, 7pm

Jan Morris will be at Book Passage on Oct 30 at 7:30pm reading from her book The World: Travels 1950-2000

And since Rolf is a big fan of Thomas Swick, I’d be willing to go check him out…He’ll be at Easy Going on Sept. 30 talking about his latest, A Way to See the World: From Texas to Transylvania with a Maverick

SORRY that these are all Bay Area events…when the new and improved WR debuts, it’ll have national and international event listings.

I saw Dave Barry in D.C. This week. He was great — very funny. I wrote a little about it here http://www.betakate.blogspot.com/2003_09_01_betakate_archive.html#106450922602624889

Of course these are all Bay Area events. The Bay Area is the center of the universe.

Not Paris or Portland.
The San Francisco Bay Area!

Fact.
