Ditto on your thoughts regarding this blog, Kelly.
Without being a “wanna-be travel writer,” I get current (even pre-current) information, energy and excitment reading this resource.
Good luck, Kelly. Don’t be afraid to take that first step. It’s in the doing that we learn, not only about the craft, but about ourselves.
Hi Kelly, thanks for the kind words and adding me as a link to your blog. I responded on i spy gemini. Five for Five.
Email me and we can chat more.

You have such a great site with so many resources. I am a wanna-be travel writer. I have not been published professionally. I have a blog and could prep samples, but I am a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to direct my energies first. Any advice for someone just starting out? (Stop now, maybe?!?) Should I write samples first? Any pubs that take things if you have not been published before? Just thought I’d ask because you know so much about this industry. I’ve been reading your site for a few months now and the inspiration and motivation keeps rising, but…not there yet. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
