Spycam tells me that TT's big bash Friday night was a success. I heard the room was packed, but that’s all I heard. Was anyone there? Tell me what I missed.

Jennifer, I would not be the best person to tell you how it went because I was the guy running the show, but I can say that I had 34,000 email messages in my account this weekend. Was it related?
We had lots of fun, with great readings from Simon Winchester, Tim O’Reilly, Judy Zimola, Phil Thompson, Ayoung M. Kim, and Richard Sterling. People laughed (really they did), people cried (true again), people drank fine wine (well, drinkable anyway), and devoured a table-full of snacks. It was SRO and we didn’t clear out till closing time.
And we sold a lot of books. From my POV it was a great event, and Book Passage owner Elaine Petrocelli was very happy. I’ll let someone else tell you about the surprise guests who accompanied me on stage every time I got up there…
