Anthem Book Blog:Information, news, and commentary on Independent Bookstores
I already feel like I’ve been living with a bag over my head for only finding it now. BTW, who is Jay? I liked hearing about the indie bookstores that need some attention. I’ll keep my eye out for other stores I hadn’t heard of in case there are some we can add to our midwest tour. Rainy Day Books Kansas City, MO and Birchbark Books Minneapolis, MN - owned by author Louise Erdrich, caught my eye.

Too wild. It turns out I know Jay. He was working at Canterbury Booksellers in Madison when I went there for the Sand tour. He wrote in. Now he’s a sales rep for Phaidon Press. Cool, thanks for checkin in Jay!
