Computer Luck

I've been good about not whining these past two weeks. My computer had a freak water accident in which it was submerged in dirty water for about fifteen minutes. It was not ON when this happened. It has been in Apple’s care for the past 12 days.

The good news is that my 12inch PowerBook and I have been reunited and it is up and running as of about 20 minutes ago. I have so much backlog I barely know where to begin. But it won’t take me long to kick it into high gear and I have all weekend to plugger on.

There is a little bad news to the tune of permanent water damage on the monitor and another freak accident that happened on the way to the shop, but I’m going to stay thankful that I didn’t lose memory. (I don’t think).

Now to pass this computer luck on to my digital image recovery needs which I still need to take care of at some point.
