Hmmm….it looks like I have a ways to go yet. Still, I had a 13 year-old walk up to me last night and ask if I was famous. That’s something. Thanks, Mattie!

You are famous, to certain people. Mattie was impressed.

Great article! Thanks for pointing to it.

Re having a ways to go yet, the first question that pops to mind is, which of those things could you set the ball in motion to make happen? You’ve got an incredible start, and have so much already in place to build on.

One completely random thought (I have a lot of those) is that I would love to see you pull all the tips and advice you’ve shared over the months on this blog and create a how-to / insider’s guide e-book on travel writing. Or create a CD with you talking about what you’ve learned along the way. Even cooler would be mixing that with interviews of others who have been successful in the travel writing biz, getting their tips and tricks on how to make it happen.

And yer famous enough that I dropped everything I was doing to jet down to hear you read when I saw you were going to be in town. That’s got to count for something. ;)

By the way, Misa loved the book!
