Dennis Loy Johnson is back to blogging.

Mobylives: news & commentary on books & writers

We were talking about him just the other day in relation to his publishing house Melville House Books. They did Our Nun which I was joking around about a few days ago.

I saw Dennis on a panel of bloggers at the last BEA. When he was asked the question how much time did blogging take him, I was blown away by his dedication. He replied, “Ten hours a day, followed by a collapse, then getting back online. Eventually six hours a day. I feel it’s a new kind of journalism I was doing. Bringing the news to people. I was online when 911 happened and people were sending me emails to look out my window. I’m leary of the term blog because it seems to diminish it.”

Here is the archived post from 9-11.
