All In: The Fastest Growing Magazine in 2005

AllInAffleckcov.jpgHoward Lederer, Jim McManus, Chris Ferguson, and Ben Affleck are either contributors or on the cover of this premier issue. Um….how fast can I get a copy? Will this be the first magazine subscription that I buy despite being address-challenged? I think so.

Bhu Srinivasan is a smart smart man. Look at the way he’s chosen contributors that poker players in-the-know will respect, at the same time using Ben to reach mass market appeal.

All In Magazine

Big thanks to Tara for sending me the New York Daily News article.
“Placing bet on poker mag All In” by Paul Colford.

“After publishing two test issues of All In from Seattle, the editor and publisher moved the mag to Manhattan and lined up Time Warner to distribute the premiere to Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble and other big outlets.

“We expect to be the fastest-growing magazine in 2005,” he told the Daily News yesterday, saying he’ll guarantee advertisers a circulation of 150,000 by February.”

I need to get an assignment from these guys. Anything. Good scouting, Tara. Excellent work. Besides that, now I know what to give my uncle and my brother for Christmas!

Yeah, pretty cool. I got my poker blog written up in the first issue.

No way, that’s so cool Pauly. I have to get a copy! Have you seen it yet? Was it a full review of poker blogs or just yours?

I was so engrossed in the poker names that I overlooked that they will be having a lifestyle section to include travel. Now I’m even more excited.
