Quick Update

Yes, I've got lots of leads and goss to pass to you. But time and energy is at a maximum tightness right now. Susan, who does about five jobs at Travelers’ Tales had back surgery yesterday and I’m in the office trying to cover said, five, or is it six, jobs. She did well and will be on the mend for the next 1-3 months. I’ll be doing this for the next few months, and staying at her house trying to keep things running there as well. In the evenings I’ll be trying to get the first TOC for Thong done in the next three to four weeks.

So, please bear with me on WR. I am thinking of you every day and wishing I could spend 30-60 min giving you the scoop. I will say that yes, I am still working on your holiday edits and thanks for your patience. Since it is still a gift, I’m hoping no one is extra upset at the delay. Hopefully I can start returning at least 2-3 a day. I was going to send them back all at once, but that’s ridiculous.

As for the good news, I was thrilled to see the Trojans spank the heck out of the Sooners. Thanks to all who sent their good words over re the game. And especially to Andrew, who was kind enough to watch the game with me even though he doesn’t care at all about football. Mike Pugh, I owe you a long thank you and I’ll have to get going on that book proposal. This one is far more interesting than the other one I had going. Cheers. Now, if you can only get me a decent job in Milwaukee after my Vegas stint I’ll be an even happier camper. ;-)

Take care, Susan. You’re in good hands with Jen, and, no doubt, much missed at Travelers Tales.

Reading A Sense of Place. Enjoying it immensely.
