Maybe if you write wonderful things about a particular spot, you could become Chancellor one day too?

In Notes from a Small Island (1995) he offered readers his car to go and visit Durham. Ten years later, he’s running the joint.

I wonder if he’ll have time to teach any travel writing classes?
