Chicago Tribune’s 50 Best Magazines List, which includes a few familiar titles:

#2 National Geographic Traveler (writers guidelines)

#15 National Geographic

#30 Outside (writer’s guidelines)

Time’s 50 Coolest Websites List, which includes:

The urban travel guide Gridskipper

The always helpful SideStep travel booking site

The Complete Review, a handy resource for locating reviews of bestselling books

NYPL Digital Gallery, including an extensive image collection of maps

Flavorpill, a stylish city guide which also produces the monthly Boldtype
