Seeking mobile professionals

By Sean | Permalink | 2 comments | August 11th, 2005 | Trackback

Tonya at Adventure Journalist is in the developing stages of a new blog project and wants to talk with professionals who spend the majority of their time on the road. I figured some WR readers might be able to assist, as travel writers are one group she is targeting.

At this point, she is only collecting names and email addresses to compile a contact list. It may be a month or more before the new blog is set up. Eventually, she will be looking for people to “guest post” about their tricks, tips and experiences working mobile. Some examples of posts might include: favorite wi-fi hotspots, how the concept of home changes when your work keeps you moving, and traveling very light — while still having your work tools available.

She like to hear from folks who “…do travel + work pretty religiously and have the ‘mobile workforce’ culture relatively harnessed.” Contact her (tonya@adventurejournalist.com) if you fit the bill.

This is something I’d like to read.

I’d be perfectly suited to post, but can’t due to the pressing list of prior commitments from my mobile-profession.

But check out her notebooks page because I thought it was a really good looking site and her photos are beautiful. Nice looking blog!
