Key West Travel Writing Workshops
By Sean | Permalink |Frommers Executive Editor Bob Fisher will be running two Travel Writing 101 Workshops in sunny Florida this coming January. Why not combine a winter getaway with a writing workshop? Sounds good to me. Appropriately held on the grounds of the Robert Frost Cottage (where the poet lived in winter), each class allows only 14 students. Act fast if you’re interested, here are the details:
When: Jan. 20 - 23 or Jan. 27 - 30, 2006
Where: Heritage House Museum & Garden, Key West, FL
Cost: $275 (Includes four hours instruction per day on Sat. & Sun., an evening reception on Friday, and optional tutoring/critique sessions between classes or on the Monday following.)
Questions: Contact Fischer at bobharu@aol.com
Bob Fisher is former editor-in-chief of Fodor Travel Guides and former President of the Society of American Travel Writers. His updated curriculum for the class (on the Heritage Museum website) now includes blogs.
