Press Trip Lead for San Diego Outdoor Writers

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you know that Hike Bike Kayak San Diego is friendly to travel writers. They are an outdoor tour group that offers kayaking, biking, and hiking adventures in San Diego and La Jolla. They even have programs for corporate parties and family outings.

I’m from San Diego and I haven’t even heard of this! How great would it be to kayak beneath fireworks in Mission Bay, or kayak in the La Jolla Caves, while whale watching, or on a moonlit or sunset tour. Damn, that sounds like fun!

So, if you’d like to take a review excursion with them, Hike Bike and Kayak San Diego is ready for you. All you need to do is provide some sample writing to them. Read on for what their looking for and contact details.

We are looking for coverage on our Fitness Vacations in San Diego, a 4-day Adventure Sports tour. It features surfing, mountain biking, road biking, kayaking and hiking. Right now, as the program is new, availability for writers is limited. BUT we run the ‘pieces’ of the Fitness Vacation all the time. So I can schedule a published travel writer on any of our upcoming tours:

• La Jolla Sea Caves Kayak Tour (2 hour ocean kayak trip to the incredible Sea Caves)
  
• La Jolla Plunge Tour, a thrilling downhill bike ride and tour of the coast and charming seaside communities
  
• Surfing lessons
  
• Mountain bike lessons around San Diego County,
  
• Whale Watching by Kayak (Dec through March). Availability a bit more limited for writers.
  

We run these tours everyday (well almost everyday) and our mild climate makes it possible to get outdoors all year around!
