Travelers Tales: New Books and Writing Class
By Sean | Permalink |
Here are a few brief Travelers Tales news items to mention before breaking for the holiday.
Travelers Tales recently published the first title in a new series : 30 Days in the South Pacific. I’d sure like to pack this book and fly to Fiji right now. Sounds like another fantastic collection of stories.
The TT team is now seeking proposals for a North Africa 30 Days book and submissions for a Middle East book. Rolf Potts has all the details on dates and who to contact with questions.
Travelers’ Takes Executive Editor Larry Habegger will conduct an Advanced Personal Travel Writing class in San Francisco, seven Wednesdays from Jan. 11 to Feb. 22, 2006. The workshop is limited to ten participants and will emphasize hands-on development of students’ stories and focus on taking their work to deeper levels. This class could continue as a monthly master class depending on interest. For details contact Larry directly at larry@larryhabegger.com
I meant to post these sooner, but ’tis the season, right? Have a wonderful holiday everyone!
