From Traveler to Travel Writer: A Writing Workshop
INSTRUCTOR: David Farley
DATE: Friday and Saturday, June 8-9
TIME: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m (both days)

DETAILS: A beginners course designed to turn the traveler into the travel writer. Learn basic travel writing skills, including how to generate story ideas, create a travel story, and turn observations into a travel piece. Students will also compose a rough draft of a travel article.

DETAILS: Students will learn how to break into travel writing, where to find ideas, how to pitch stories to markets, and much more.

How to Be a Travel Guidebook Writer

DETAILS: Learn the ups and downs of guidebook writing, including details on different guidebooks, how to pitch, lifestyle realities, and guidebook writing style.
