If you’ve ever been bored with the Travel Channel, TURN HERE. It’s a super cool collection of video guidebooks.

Turn Here: Short Films. Cool Places.

With viral videos sweeping the Internet, it was only time before it got a travel spin. All I have to say is, Anthony Bourdain—get packing. The people among us are going to rock the travel world with their fresh takes. Check out David Himel in Toronto’s Chinatown. Lonely Planet would be so lucky as to have David Himel. I’d like to see something like that for every place I go to!

Now, lets add 2+ 2 together. I need to do my own video!!! Vegas, Baby! I’ll let you know as soon as I do how to get on one of these. Right now it’s a bit San Francisco heavy, but that’s just because the company is from there. I have no doubt it’ll reach the far corners of the globe in no time.

How cool! I just watched Athens, Ga, a very hip town. I loved the one on Hamlet’s Elsinore, which has great moody-music.

Jill, you still reading WR? This would be perfect for your Yahoo Buzz column. It’s about as cool as the National Geographic watering hole/ ;-)

Jen- this is perfect for you. Right up your alley. So what will you give up or trade to fit this into your already tight schedule?

Ahem…don’t forget that I’m eating up entrees on the plate left and right. AND I have not committed myself to anything poker related for my entire time at the WSOP this summer. Maybe a Vegas short would be it. Note that the Turn Here films aren’t just amateurs with handheld cameras, they also have a bunch of editing in there with historic stuff like old photos, newspaper articles, etc.

We’ll see. All I’m saying is that it’s pretty damn cool.

Yeah, I’m still reading. While it won’t work for Buzz (which addresses what people are searching for), it might be cool for Picks (cool websites). Thanks!

Thanks, Jill! Doesn’t surprise me that you already did them. They’re totally worthy. I hate that I didn’t find them till just now. You know how I like to be in the loop. :-)

I’ll have to re-sign up for Yahoo Picks at my newer email address.
