Job Lead: Editor for Fodor’s

Fodor’s Travel is looking for another Editor to join their team. This is a newly created position reporting into the Vice President & Publisher.

Responsibilities: Work with destination and web editors to oversee and edit hotel and restaurant reviews. Develop guidelines for reviews and rating systems and hire freelance writers. Work with other editors to develop future pieces and work with marketing to promote Fodor’s ratings.

Requirements: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years editorial experience. Magazine experience is a plus as well as experience doing travel/hotel/restaurant reviews. Individual must have strong line editing and copy editing skills and have a passion for travel. Experience finding and hiring writers is desirable.
