While researching Book Passage’s 2006 Travel Writers and Photographers Conference, I realized we post very few job leads for travel photographers. Well, it’s time to show you some love!

My favorite travel magazine (second only to its sister publication, National Geographic Adventure), National Geographic Traveler is looking for a assistant photo editor to select, scan, research, and edit photos as well as provide support for other photo editors.

For more details and the online application, click here.

AOL Cityguides in Boston and Long Island are looking for freelance photographers take 20-30 pictures of restaurants, bars, attractions, and events. For the right people, there’s an opportunity to become one of their contributors.

To apply, send a cover letter, resume, and a link to a representative sampling of photographs to LongIslandRB@aol.com
