Globe Corner Adventure Travel Lecture Series
By Kelly Amabile | Permalink |The Globe Corner Bookstore in Cambridge, MA has announced two events for their fall Adventure Travel Lecture Series:
1) On Wednesday, October 25th, Wayne Bernhardson will speak about travel to Patagonia via the gateway cities of Santiago and Buenos Aires. He is the author of Moon’s Patagonia Handbook as well as three other Moon Handbooks: Chile, Argentina and Buenos Aires.
2) On Thursday, November 2nd, historian Mary McAuliffe will talk about her walks through Paris in search of sites noted by artists and writers. McAuliffe is the author of Paris Discovered: Explorations in the City of Light.
Both author lectures will take place at 6 PM at The First Parish Church, located at 3 Church Street. A reception and booksigning follows at the Harvard Square store, located at 90 Mt. Auburn Street.
