Olsson’s Book Events and Blogs

tothetop.gifOlsson’s Books, an indy chain in VA and DC, has two travel-related author events this week. First up is NPR correspondent John Burnett, author of Uncivilized Beasts and Shameless Hellions: Travels with an NPR Correspondent, who will make an appearance at Olsson’s Dupont Circle store on October 18 at 7 PM.

The very next night, October 19, Ed Viesturs will be at the Olsson’s in Arlington at 7 PM to talk about his new release: No Shortcuts to the Top: Climbing the World’s 14 Highest Peaks. Additional information for both events can be found here.

I noticed today that Olsson’s has two blogs — Buyer’s Corner, which has been around for about a year, and the newer Recommended Reads, where I came across this post with some book suggestions for writers.
