So, I’m in mega surf mode to catch up on things and found out that our friends are winning awards. Big congrats to Gold Medal winners World Hum, Rolf Potts, The Boston Globe, The Miami Herald, and all the many more winners of the Lowell Thomas Award! Check out the “>full list of winners here and see which publications are producing award winners. Might be a good place to start submitting if you want to walk in their footsteps.

Also, did you hear that Side Step bought TravelPost? Interesting…

Lonely Planet is running a “Less Than Three” travel video promotion. They’re taking travel videos of less than three minutes and awarding the best with a $7500 RTW trip. Deadline is January 15, 2007.
