The Globe Corner bookstore has announced several upcoming speakers for its Adventure Travel Lecture Series. Events are free and reservations are strongly urged.

TUESDAY, MARCH 20TH
LONELY PLANET COSTA RICA
Mara Vorhees, author of Lonely Planet Costa Rica, and numerous other Lonely Planet Guides will give an illustrated talk about travel in Costa Rica. Reservations recommended.

MONDAY, APRIL 2ND
THE LAST MUGHAL
William Dalrymple, author of “The Last Mughal, The Fall of a
Dynasty: Delhi, 1857″, will read from and discuss his book The Last Mughal. Dalrymple is also the author of White Mughals, The Age of Kali, From the Holy Mountain, City of Djinns, and In Xanadu. Reservations required.

TUESDAY, APRIL 10Th
LET’S GO FRANCE 2007
A group of Let’s Go France researchers/writers will talk about their travels last summer to contribute to the current of the guide.
With regional itineraries, each of them faced challenges for new discoveries in economical travel in France and the group will discuss favorite and unexpected travel experiences. Extra time will be reserved for Q and A. Reservations recommended.
