Call From National Press Club For Travel Writers
By Abha | Permalink |If you are an editor, photographer, a writer, trying to be a writer, or whatever, as long as you are waddling in the travel-publishing industry, and want to share your experiences with a crowd who will listen to what you have to say, this opportunity may be yours.
The event is being sponsored by the National Press Club and the Travel Committee. Christine Dell’Amore, Secretary of the Young Members Committee of the National Press Club is looking for a DC area travel writer to participate on a travel writing panel happening on June 28.
2-3 spots are up for grabs and you would share the panel with Gary Lee of the Washington Post and Kay Shaw Nelson - a longtime food and travel freelancer for the NY Times and Gourmet, and perhaps some others.
It would also be a great opportunity to mingle with members of the National Press Club, and other people involved in the travel publishing industry. For those starting out, you might just get a shooting idea on how could you turn your summer vacation into a travel piece!.
If you are interested, get in touch with Christine asap at rueparadis@gmail.com or call her on 301-520-7153
