Baltimore Magazine
I just caught this one and thought it would be a really great position if anyone is familiar with the Baltimore area. Baltimore Magazine, the nation’s oldest city magazine, is looking for a senior level editor to cover the food and travel sections of the magazine.

Overall job requirements: Someone who is food and travel coverage obsessive with four or more years as an editor is required or possibly experience writing or editing food coverage at a high level. Magazine-style editorial work is preferred and lifestyle or service journalism and/or editing is a plus. Candidates should be good at working with and managing freelancers, and finding and developing new writers. They work on Macs, in MS Word and MS Office. Candidates should be familiar with InDesign or Quark or similar design software.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and competitive health benefits and a 401(k) plan.

To Apply: Apply by email (no phone calls). Include a brief cover letter in the body of the e-mail, attach your resume and three clips (PDF is preferred), and send to the managing editor Geoff Brown.
