Costa Rica’s English language newspaper is looking for an Online Editor. Candidates should be bilingual, have online journalism experience. Knowledge of basic web programming and graphic design a plus. Tasks include writing and editing news daily, managing projects and creating new features, etc. The Online Editor works closely with the newsroom and Editors of the print edition.

Moon Washington
Avalon Travel Publishing is looking for an author of their Moon Washington Hanbook. Authors should live in or have close ties to the city/region. If interested: Send a resume, a cover letter, up to five relevant clips to acquisitions@avalonpub.com as attachments. In the cover letter, explain why you are the best person to write the book. Put the name of the book in the subject line. I was just in Washington State last week and whoever ends up with this book is one lucky person.
