Market Leads: In the Know Traveler, Wend Magazine

The bulk of In the Know Traveler’s content appears to be press releases, and what I saw of the site — including the submissions guide page — was poorly edited (typos, punctuation errors, etc). As Rolf Potts said in response to Abha’s question about whether beginning writers should write for free (and let’s face it, $10 is not that far from free), “if you do write for free, write for a publication with a strong writing and a strong editorial mission, lest your story get lost amid the slag of a mediocre publication.”
