By Abha | Permalink | 4 comments | February 7th, 2008 | Trackback

Give some insight on life of a travel-guidebook writer, and voila, a relevant job lead comes flying in!

Globe Pequot Press is looking for freelance travel-writers.

Wanted:
1) A cruising expert/writer/editor wanted to update a book of advice for cruise travelers.
2) Local writers in South Carolina and in the San Diego area

The work for the above involves checking all of the information in the current edition, replacing any dated information, and adding fresh material as the editor sees fit.

I’ve been told that deadlines are super tight, so don’t sit on the application process should you be interested.

How to apply:
Anyone interested should provide a current resume along with a list of published work (and samples).

Contact Globe Pequot Press Senior Editor Amy Lyons at amy.lyons[at]globepequot.com if you are interested!
