Interview With Robert Reid: The Rise Of Online Travel Guides

I subscribe to a million (not exaggerating) RSS feeds, from EVERYWHERE. I enjoy most I subscribe to, and I subscribe to new ones almost every day (yes, I’m obsessed) which is precisely why I often miss good stuff — that goes completely against the whole point of subscribing to feeds from cool sites. This interview with Robert Reid on World Hum is such an example. Argh.

Author of a dozen Lonely Planet guides and Reid On Travel, in the interview Robert Reid talks about the guidebook publishing industry and it moving online, challenges the industry faces online, and his opinion on the future of the guidebook industry.

A good read. For those who missed it, you can read it here.
