Northstar Travel Media is looking for an Assistant Editor for their TravelAge West publication in Los Angeles, CA.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 1-2 years related experience in magazine and newspaper editorial and production. Experience working in the travel industry preferred.
-College degree or equivalent work experience. English, Journalism or Literature major preferred.
-Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
-Must possess excellent organizational, management and interpersonal skills.
-Excellent copy-editing, proofreading and writing skills.
-Comfort in the use of InCopy, InDesign or QuarkXpress and Microsoft Office for editing and layout
