These two just popped up on the radar today:

1.) Fodor’s is looking for writers for their Iceland Guide.
Requirements: Published writers who live (or are spending a significant amount
of time) in Iceland or new writers who are
tapped into the country.
To Apply: Send writing clips, a resume, and an email detailing your expertise to: Kelly Lack klack@fodors.com

2.) Time Out New York is looking for an Assistant Editor in their Manhattan office.
Requirements: Candidates should be enthusiastic, whip-smart and detail-oriented. They should also be big-time idea generators. The position involves writing, editing, blogging, listings
entry, and some administrative tasks (preparing freelance contracts,
distributing lineups, etc.). Candidates should be able to work fast and, I quote, “harbor a deep, burnin’ love” of New York City. One to three years editorial experience is preferred, but recent grads with internship experience may also be considered. A degree in journalism
or a similar field is a plus.
To Apply: Please e-mail resume and clips to ahalpern@timeoutny.com. For snail-mail submissions: Time Out New York, Attn: Ashlea Halpern, 475 Tenth Ave, 12th floor, New York, NY 10018. NO PHONE CALLS.
