Have something to say but feel like you don’t have an outlet? Then Examiner.com might be just the thing for you. Examiner is an online community made up of a network of experts and insiders around the country writing on what they’re passionate about, meaning that as long as you love what you’re writing about, you’re perfectly qualified.

So where do you as a travel writer fit in? Examiner is looking for independent contractors to commit to about 4 posts a week on specific cities. And although the website doesn’t pay per post, it does pay based on a minimum rate per 1,000 page views.

How to apply:
Go here to fill out a questionnaire that includes what city you are interested in writing about and your specific writing niche. Be prepared to come up with three creative headlines as examples of what you would write for your topic.
