EDITORIAL PROJECT MANAGER (Series Titles)

Deadline for their Editorial Project Manager position is 8 April.

Bradt Travel Guides is looking for someone to join their editorial team to project manage titles in their core series and to take responsibility for quality checking output from the editorial department. The role will involve managing (in house) approximately ten titles a year (from contract to delivery of material to the printer, and including overseeing freelancers), making regular assessments of (and reports on) the development of the series as a whole, and checking blurbs, AIs and other material. Very strong editorial skills are essential (and will be tested as part of the application process); you should also demonstrate the ability to juggle tasks, meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure. You will have worked in publishing (ideally travel guides) for at least 2 years, have some experience of project management and preferably be familiar with managing budgets and outsourced projects.
