Now what smart US publisher is going to reprint his best books in the States? Travelers' Tales should think twice about this. Even if they've let go of the single author books.

I mean, he wrote one really good book - the wrong way home - and the rest is purile dribble.....he is, quite honestly, a shocking writer with little or no talent...

actually it was his second - the first one (no shitting etc) was written first but published by a small company and therefore didnt get the press (it didnt deserve).
He is such a crap writer its untrue though I guess he does fulfil a need for people who think they like to read travel books but dont actually need to know anything about the places the author visits.
In the Swahili book there is some of the worst prose (apart from my own that is) ever committed to paper...
