If you'll be in or around NYC next weekend, get on in to the New York Times Travel Show!
In addition to being surrounded by thousands of travel enthusiasts, and maxing out your monthly budgeted alottment for next-trip-day-dreaming, they've got a bunch of great seminars open to the general public.
I will be moderating the Travelling Women panel on Sunday March 6, in Room 2, at 3pm. Featured panelists include Avalon's Susan Fox Rogers, Fodor's Lea Lane and Seal Press' Bonnie Bertram.
You can also find me at the Longitude Books booth (in Hall 1A, adjacent to the seminar rooms), with Larry Habegger where I'll be happy to sign books. Thanks for the mention, Jen. I'll be moderating the Latin America panel at the NY Times travel show Sunday March 6 at 1pm. And I'll be at Longitude's booth all day Sunday and possibly Saturday afternoon signing copies of A Sense of Place.

Hey Jen, I am attending the show on Saturday, any idea what time you may be at Longitude's booth that afternoon? I was honored to be asked to be godmother to my friend's new baby and will be at the christening on the 6th, otherwise I would def come on Sunday instead. (Kinda can't get out of that one ;-)
If I don't get to meet you this weekend, there will always be Vegas! I am really looking forward to exploring the show...too bad I will miss your panel, I hope to catch Ayun's, I think it is Sat. afternoon.

I'll be at the TT table within the Longitude area all weekend or at least mid morning through mid afternoon Fri, Sat, and Sun except for when I'm at that panel, off walking the floor, or grabbing eats.
So, lostgal and anyone else, please come by! If you want to arrange something else, please email me for my cell. So far, Fri night and Sat night is already booked.
