The Atlantic Monthly is sponsoring a $25,000 journalism award in honor of Michael Kelly, editor of The Atlantic Monthly and National Journal. Kelly died last April covering the war in Iraq.

It is just so sad. Newspaper men risking their lives so that we can watch the show on telly. But as my editor says, Kelly's spirit will live on. Amen to that.

Oops. was pooped out. too much travelling, too much writing.... I mean watch the show on telly or read it in newspapers... It is really sad. And yet people turn around and say, well if you are a war correspondent you should be prepared for this. Well....8-(
